The Messenger

What messages do you receive? Do you believe in them? Can you conceive? Are they positive or negative? Do they cut like a knife? Are you listening to them carefully? Do they cause much strife?

Who delivers them, a friend or a foe? Do you agree with the messages or are they creeping into your subconscious like the TV, internet or radio?

We hear and read many messages by day & by night. Sometimes we want to fight the messenger
for delivery of such plight.

I often find it hard to understand how even the kindest person I know can deliver a message so cruel; attempting to plant a bad seed they hope will be later sown.

Perhaps you are a messenger of peace or of doom.If so, do you consider your delivery is it helpful or gentle or so harsh & hurtful the receiver longs for the safety of their mother's womb?

If you are the messenger does your message comfort or console? Is it a rumor or simply gossip? Are you passing it on or even trying to stop it?

Who or what is the source of the messages that you share? Are they full of truth & honesty or more like someone's worst nightmare?

As messengers are we uniting each other & creating harmony? Or do we conquer & divide allowing our relationships to crumble & die, by giving up on love not taking its gift seriously?

Consider this perhaps, that long after you're dead and gone, how will your messages be remembered by those who are here? For all spoken words can impact & influence even the strongest and most discerning ear.
