Strong Women

 Tabitha Boatwright

There is a kind of grief strong women rarely name.

It is the grief of what we lost while becoming the woman everyone could depend on, the tenderness we hid, the needs we postponed, the dreams we set aside, and the parts of ourselves we silenced just to keep going.
My latest article, “When the Leaves Fall: Grieving What the Strong Woman Lost,” is for the woman who has carried so much that she never had space to acknowledge what the carrying cost her.
If you have ever wondered whether gratitude and grief can exist together, or whether God will meet you beneath the strength that helped you survive, I invite you to read this gentle reflection.

If it speaks to you, I would love to know: What are you learning to release in this season?
